What needs to be remembered, is that no matter how much you may know about computers or computing when you are trying to accomplish any given task, whereby you are going to be using the computer the one thing you must always have in mind is to be as flexible as possible.

As anyone who has been paying attention to my Journal articles recently will understand.  I have gone back and forth a number of times between Firefox and Google Chrome.  And Internet Explorer, meaning, IE 9.  This morning, because I have recently updated my schedule in order to become more effective so that I could produce more Journal articles on timely basis.  I basically was trying to gather my news articles using Google Chrome.  And for a number of reasons which I will explain below, Google Chrome just was really not up to the test.  So consequently, I have decided that the reality is that since I him.  Basically involved in a form of electronic publishing, whereby I am actually producing news articles and journalistic efforts in my Journal, it makes more sense for me to use a browser that actually will be as compatible not only with my speech program but will also be able to give me the responsiveness that I need, pursuant to doing those articles.  And for that reason, I have gone back to using Internet Explorer, IE 9.  So initially what follows is an explanation of the different browsers, Firefox, Google Chrome, and IE 9, whereby I will attempt to explain why my decision is going in the direction it did, where I am now going back to Internet Explorer.

There are in fact problems with using Google Chrome and Firefox, pursuant to doing expeditious news retrieval research.  And like I said, I will explain below.

Google Chrome :

To begin with, Google Chrome is really a very fast browser.  It probably is one of the fastest on the Internet.  Although, I have to say with rather solid confidence, that Internet Explorer is still probably the fastest browser on the Internet at this time.  At least from the experience.  I have had over the last several years.

The problem with Google Chrome is that the way that it handles bookmarks is set up in such a way, so that in actuality, Google Chrome basically does not have any kind of context menu linkage for adding a bookmark to your Google Chrome bookmarks.  This of course is a problem when I am attempting to go through a number of news feeds in order to separate the various news stories into their categories for inclusion in my various news articles.  Furthermore, after spending almost 90 min. looking through all of the extensions that Google Chrome offers for the browser, there was not one extension that actually work as well.  As IE 9 or Firefox.

So on that basis alone, using Google Chrome is probably, for my purposes, not a very good idea.  It just does not have the functionality that I need in order to be able to expeditiously add these news stories to the various folders for inclusion in my news articles.  And what is more important, is because the Republican Party has become so extremely sinister and ugly and their behavior, the Republican Party and the Christian conservatives are so hysterical about doing everything they can to prevent anyone from ever thinking anything other than what the Republican Party and the Christian conservatives want them to think.  They really are resembling the same type of behavior that was exhibited by Adolf Hitler during World War II with the Nazi party.

And because the Republican Party is behaving in such a terribly flat minded and linear thinking manner, whereby most of their philosophic points of view are in fact symptomatic rather than problematic.  It is on that account that the world is currently besieged with a kind of information war where the Republican Party and the tea party are doing is much as they can to lie to the public as much is possible.

And because of this kind of information war that is being promoted by the Christian conservatives and the Republican Party and the tea party, it then falls to all reasonable and like-minded human beings in the world who are in fact in support of freedom and equal rights for all people rather than simply the least that belong to the Republican Party or the tea party or the Christian conservatives, to do everything possible to fight against this tidal wave of propaganda and basically lies that the Republican Party and the tea party and the Christian conservatives are attempting to perpetrate against the people of this world.

So again, under those circumstances, my browsing needs are imperative.  Because with this kind of informational war going on.  I have to be able to gather as many news articles as possible, which are as pertinent as I could possibly find pursuant to the various political and sociological subjects pursuant to the news articles.  I am composing.  And what is unfortunate is that Google Chrome is more geared toward entertainment browsing rather than very serious research.

And so under those circumstances again, Google Chrome is a nice browser and it is very fast but it really does not have very much functionality as far as assisting the online user of being able to gain as many resources for any of their blogging efforts, as they would like to be able to achieve.

And that is basically why I am not really in favor of going back to Google Chrome.

Firefox :

No Firefox on the other hand, is a fantastically good browser.  It is very creative and has a lot of wonderful add on’s that help to make Firefox an excellent browsing choice.  But the one area where Firefox stumbles and falls down is not with the bookmarks.  But with the news reader.  Because when Firefox the one really good news reader is something called, Brief.  But brief for some reason in Firefox version 9.1, just does not display correctly.  And this is happening no matter what the user can do.  For some reason the fee pages inside brief are not showing up correctly in Firefox.

So while Firefox has a tremendous amount of fantastic capabilities.  As far as a web browser and the handling of bookmarks.  It falls short with its handling of newsreaders.  And again I do not have time for that.  The time constraints on me.  Our rather critical.  Because every single day during the week.  I am working from approximately 4 AM, until almost 9 PM.  And most of the day is spent on managing news articles and doing Journal entries pursuant to the news Journal entries.  And with the amount of news, information that is on the web at this time with all of the tremendous back and forth conflict, informationally speaking, going on between people who are concerned with the Constitution and freedom vs. the Republican Party and the tea party and the Christian conservatives who are much more concerned with demonstrating their hatred for everything and destroying anyone who disagrees with them.  Under those circumstances the time constraints on me are critical.  It does not matter that I can read at a very accelerated rate, and have a photographic memory.  The fact still remains that I have to at least look at the article and order to photograph it in my brain.  And I also need to manage these articles so that they are sorted correctly.  So that when I present these news articles in my Journal.  You, the reader, will benefit to the greatest extent.

So with Firefox stumbling as far as the newsreader, trying to achieve in the organizational structure of collecting the news articles for inclusion in my news Journal entries is nothing short of a nightmare.  So once again, Firefox is another browser that is basically falling short pursuant to my journalistic efforts in my Journal.  With regard to the news articles I am attempting to generate.

Internet Explorer , IE 9 :

While IE 9 is in actuality, one of the largest web browsing engines.  And while IE 9 is also as a result of being such a large browsing engine not as user-friendly as Firefox or chrome, IE 9 is in fact not only the safest browser that is out there.  But it is also the one that is able to achieve all of the different aspects of what I need without a lot of the difficulties I have been having with Google Chrome and Firefox.

While the newsreader in IE 9 is not as well defined or possibly as good as the newsreader, brief, in Firefox.  The handling of bookmarks and the safety feature and the expeditious aspect by which IE 9.  Handles not only bookmarks but also the news feeds, make IE 9 the preferable browser.  For my purposes.

So that is where things stand now at this time with it now being 1:05 PM here in Cleveland.

Social Networks:

I have had a number of invitations from different political personalities in the United States to go back to Facebook .  And while I really do admire these individuals and am very gratified that they have wanted me to be a friend of theirs on Facebook.  At the same time as I have said before, I really do not have the time for Facebook.  With my time being allocated so much in a dedicated manner toward handling and maintaining this Journal, I just do not really have the time for a lot of social networking.  And that of course includes twitter .

In point of fact, I do like these social networking services, but only from the standpoint, that they have a certain degree of functionality, pursuant to political and human rights activism.  But at the same time, I just do not really have the time to engage in a lot of the activities, or spend much time on any of these social networks.  My best ability is my ability to communicate.  My best ability is not only my ability to communicate but to research and present good information.  Whereby I am able to ask incredibly difficult questions not only of myself but of those who read my Journal.

So for example, even though I have recently joined Google.  Plus, which is a kind of Facebook clone, social service.  I do not really see myself as having much to do with the global plus social networking service.  Again, I just do not have the time.

I have in fact done a certain amount of the collection of the news stories for my Journal articles today.  But because I have been going through the process of reorganizing my schedule in order to gain more productivity, I still have to go through and readjust my schedule someone in order to be able to generate these news articles earlier in the day.  However, I should be able to begin to put some news articles up within the next two hours.  And then starting tomorrow.  I should be able to have those news articles going up sometime before 11 o’clock in the morning.  And that will be five days a week.  And as I said, I will probably be generating between two and three news Journal articles every day.

But again, I still have to readjust my schedule, but the foregoing is basically where my thinking is at this time.

I have also set up scheduled times for me to go through the pending and spam comments on WordPress.  And I will be doing that five days a week, perhaps six days a week.  And that way I can make sure that those of you who are interested in getting your comments approved as soon as possible, will not have to wait very long.

But this is basically what I wanted to share with everyone.  Because not only are people all over the world being caught up in a kind of information war.  But people all over the world were using computers are actually almost being victimized by the overwhelming aggressiveness of what could and can in fact be considered the browser wars.  And so consequently that is why I am providing this Journal entry in order to provide more information regarding these different browsers and how they respond with the intention being of course to help you the reader, to have a better handle on being able to decide for yourselves.  Which of the three major browsers is actually going to be more pertinent, and/or applicable to your needs.

So at this point, I am going to go ahead and finish collecting the news articles that I need to collect and then I will of course do a few Journal entries meaning news Journal entries, regarding the news, information I have in fact collected for today.  And of course, as I said, there is a tremendous amount happening right now in the world, not only economically but politically as well.  And for those of you who are watching the news or reading the news you know darn well that there is a tremendous amount of political activity going on.  And you also know that the Republican Party is basically acting almost like a bunch of renegades where they are showing absolutely no concern for the Constitution or for the liberties and freedoms that the Constitution protects.  It is like the Republican Party is much more interested in destroying anything they do not like.  Just like they are extremely interested in discrediting anyone they do not like.  Because they do not have the human dignity or the human courage to basically put up and shut up and be honest about the horrible unscrupulous behavior they are engaged in.  The same can of course also be set for the extremists in the Catholic and Christian religions as well as the Jewish and Muslim religions as well.

So let me get to a.  And then I will do some posting.

Thanks very much for listening.
